In our increasingly electronic and linked up world, information technology is now a fundamental part of all of our lives, including our children’s education. Information technology changes fast! And it is not cheap!
In the first quarter of this year, St Nicholas PTA spent circa £10,000 on laptop trolleys for the use of the children at St Nicholas, including the new display screen in the main reception area so that children can show their art work and for school announcements.
Other PTA spends include:
£1,500 of funding for events
£84 for the provision of 6 additional chess sets for the school chess club.
Circa £400 for inflatable goal posts for the school sports
£284 for a sensory garden for the early years.
£500 for visits by Surrey arts and theatre groups.
£1000 for school playground markings.
