Standards in Education. OFSTED
inspect schools and other
organisations to provide independent
assessments of school performance,
care, facilities and progress.
Schools are inspected periodically;
current OFSTED information
says "Schools are normally
inspected on a six-year cycle".
St Nicholas School has been
inspected twice since OFSTED
started inspecting primary
schools.
