The school is housed in several inter-connected buildings which
include eighteen class bases,
two halls (one with a stage), a library, an information and communication
technology suite and specialist
rooms for art, music, special
needs and resources as well as offices and a welfare room. The
Early Years building (opened in 1994) received
three design awards. All school
buildings have access and internal facilities for children and
adults with disabilities and these
are kept under continual review.
The school has won an award in the past for this provision.
Playgrounds include a Foundation Stage outdoor area, two adventure
play trails and facilities for basketball, Kwik Cricket, netball
and other games during breaks. There is a small games field adjacent
to the school building and a much larger one at the rear of the
school, across Black Ditch path. There is a conservation area with
a pond on the school site and a large nature reserve adjacent to
the games field.
