Years
building,
opened
in
1994
and
further
improved
in
2004,
has
received
three
design
awards.
Access
is
easy,
with
classroom
doors
opening
directly
to
the
playground,
avoiding
crowding
at
busy
times.
Classes (right) are
well lit, open,
and well-organised.
Children's own work
is
always on display.
Early Years
is
brightly decorated
with a variety of
displays, colour
and strong
shapes.
The most recent
extension is a
new play and exploration
area for the two
Reception classes.
Early
Years joins the main
building through the
Middle Phase Library,
well-equipped and
comfortable
to encourage casual
reading.
